The Commander can also call in missile strikes to eliminate hostile targets. The Commander then observes the ongoing battle through the eyes of other players and deploy vehicles and weapon drops to help out the players. The newly reintroduced feature is the " Commander Mode" (which was last used in Battlefield 2142) which gives a real-time-strategy view to one player from each team. The matches are capped at 64 players on PC, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One. There are three playable factions in the game: Russia, China, and the United States. The multiplayer aspect of Battlefield 4 is the same formula used as always just greatly improved with new additions here and there. Battlefield 4 also had assignments that unlocked weapons for multiplayer when completed. The Engage command is used to direct Recker's squadmates and sometimes other friendly units to attack any foes in sight. The binocular was used as a tool which helped the player with locating enemies and friendly units, finding explosives and weapons stashes and so on. The players assumed the role of Recker in Battlefield 4, and he had two special functions that he can use, the tactical binocular and the Engage command. Firstly, the game's levels were made in a sandbox style so you had to use vehicles to traverse them in most cases. Battlefield 4 had a campaign that had some strange elements that weren't present in the multiplayer part of the game. Battlefield 4 is another instalment to the Battlefield franchise of first-person-shooters.
